Snoopy is a 15hh 11-year-old (14/12/06) liver chestnut English Riding Pony gelding. This is an incredibly heartbreaking sale as Snoopy has been apart of our family for the last 6 years however I have outgrown him.
Snoopy would suit a small teen or small adult rider wanting to have some fun.
Snoopy is a very versatile mount with successes in multiple disciplines. He is currently competing at level 1 and 2 dressage and will be representing Taranaki in the Intermediate Championship (level 2/3) at the NZPCA Dressage Champs in January (if not sold prior). He has consistent movement and gets great scores - if he does make a mistake or get a bad mark it's more often than not my fault for not giving him the correct signal. Snoopy has established flying changes, walk to canter, walk pirouettes, leg yields and we are currently working on medium trot/canter. Snoopy is competing at 95cm eventing and is always in the top 3 after dressage. Loves XC, just wants to get out there and get the job done. Has schooled 105 and has the potential to step up, or would be just as happy competing at 95 or 80. Showjumping at 110cm, clean jumper and rarely takes rails (again if he does- riders fault!) Snoopy has also turned his hand at games and show hunter. Excellent out on the hunt field, doesn't get fizzy and jumps anything he's pointed at. Great to hack out on the farm, doesn't mind machinery, cows, chickens, goats, ducks, alpacas. Easy to float, truck, shoe etc.
Snoopy is an incredibly kind, honest and genuine horse with impeccable courtesy to inexperienced riders. I've had many of my friends who've never ridden before hop on him, he doesn't mind them bouncing around like a sack of potatoes on a long rein. One friend even cantered off the lunge line her first ever ride.
Will only be sold to the best of homes
