Price reduced - I don't want to part with her but I don't have time to do her justice this season!

Agent Starling - Athletic, responsive, forward thinking but with great brakes and steering. Super fun to ride, heaps of get up and go, but can settle immediately afterwards into a loose rein walk on beach, forest, or farm rides. This mare is very friendly and affectionate, bold and curious, loves work, gives 100% every ride. She will be someone’s best mate and partner in crime. Not a beginner’s horse, but she doesn’t buck, bolt, rear, kick or bite.

Starling is excellent to shoe and has brilliant feet. She has been barefoot in the past with no problems but is currently shod. Bred on the hills and spent early years in a herd situation, sure footed and clever on trail rides. Excellent traveller, trucks or floats with no problems. We travel locally to beach, farm or forest approx. 3 times a week, and we do 3 – 5 hours of driving each way to shows regularly. Easy horse to keep fit, leads beautifully off another horse at walk, trot and canter on beach or trail.

Showjumping at 90cm – 95cm with placings. Very careful jumper, hardly ever touches a rail, consistently double clear. Jumping 1.00m - 1.05m in lessons, with the odd jump of 1.10 – 1.15 at the end of a nicely set up line.

Eventing at pre-training level, snaffle mouth all 3 phases, more than capable of jumping training heights on straightforward fences, however we live hours away from any XC course so struggle to attend practice days to work on technical fences. Placed second at Flaxmere HT in Spring 2016, and fifth at Arran Station. Wins and placings at intro and pre-training ODEs at various Pony Club grounds in 2015-16 season. Has been in light work all winter after a busy 2016/17 season.

Genuine reason for sale, this mare will only go to the best of homes. No trials or leases, but happy for any prospective buyers to ride multiple times at my home, and come out with me for beach, farm and forest rides.
