First of All’s pedigree is filled with dressage heavyweights including Fürstenball, Fürst Heinrich, and Londonderry, Laurie’s Crusdor, while the great Donnerhall features twice. His dam line carries NZ stars Dynamit and Genius.
First of All O (Al for short), was awarded the top Rheinland Foal of the 2018 NZ Hanoverian Tour.
Fürstenball's offspring are clearly stamped by the sire.
First of All O has inherited from Fürstenball a great, clear 4-beat walk, an uphill canter and an elastic trot. He scored 9 for his walk. Fürstenball's offspring are known for their beautiful heads and amazing characters, being gentle, kind and even tempered. Al is no exception, and is keen to learn and very easy to handle. His full brother now in Christchurch, made the trip alone, and effortlessly at 8 months old.
Paul Schockmohle describes the famous Fürstenball as a congruence never seen before. Fürstenball sets a new standard in his own career as well as in his heredity. He won his licensing and stallion performance test, was regional and national champion of Germany, sire of champion stallions, winner of S level dressage classes, 2013 VTV stallion of the year, and number 1 of the FN breeding valuation throughout Germany in 2015 - it is hard to do better at such a young age!
His first descendants are now successful at S level and have brought their sire once again to the absolute top of the FN breeding valuation with 164 points.
His success is predetermined: Sire Fürst Heinrich was dressage horse World Champion and in his short time at stud he sired 53 sons and 64 advanced level/S level dressage horses.
The dam sire Lessing was 2008 National Champion Young Dressage Horse. Lessing descends form Londonderry and Laurie’s Crusador.
