I am a 21 year old event rider based in West Auckland with many years experience riding, competing and schooling.

Having a passion for horses from a young age, I began riding at 8 years old. I quickly outgrew the ability of my first two ponies and quite often found myself riding other peoples naughty ponies and hot thoroughbreds at the tender age of 10. After a few years of persevering with an Arabian gelding who made it clear he didn’t want to jump I got my first hack who I competed to training level eventing and show jumped up to 1.20m. I also had a number of project ponies I was bringing on at that time, giving them confidence and schooling to ready them for their own little person. They were sold throughout New Zealand with one special girl selling internationally as a riding school pony.

After a few years off I came back into riding by purchasing my first off the track thoroughbred who I am producing along with another youngster who, in the future will be a child’s dream pony. I also have my main event horse ‘Johnnie’ Competing at 1.05m level eventing and up to 1.15m showjumping.

Johnnie - 13 year old Chestnut thoroughbred that I hope will continue to high level eventing

Sky -  My off the track 6 year old bay mare that i will continue to produce as a pony club mount

Trixie - A 5 year old buckskin Welsh/Arab cross that will make some kid very happy one day, a super wee pony for the future

Rafii - My 27 year old purebred Arab who enjoys semi-retirement with beach and farm hacking
