GOLDRIDGE WINCHESTER (Oscar)
Oscar is an English Riding Pony X Welsh and registered with both the Welsh Society and Pony Breeders Society.
Oscar is a stunning pony with scope and style and a much loved favourite member of our Pony family. This pony excels in everything he does, he has a massive heart and will be as big and bold as his rider is. Oscar is a gentleman to handle with an exceptional nature, he is delightful to work with and has personality plus. Oscar loves attention and loves to be involved in all activities.
Oscar started eventing this year starting at 45cm winning at Hurunui moving on to 65cm winning Okuku, Rangiora and Eyreton ODE's and continuing to 80 cm placing at Halswell, Springston, and Interschools, finishing the season with Canterbury ESNZ U21 and was placed 2nd.
Finally Oscar delighted everyone and competed in a team at the Springston Trophy in Oamaru.
We live on a busy farm with trucks, tractors, silage wagons, fertiliser spreaders, motorbikes going past his pen several times a day which does not phase him in the slightest.
Oscar has had outings to the beach, forest, farm rides and pony club
Oscar is excellent to float, loves the farrier and great with the dentist.
Snaffle in all phases. His flatwork is beautiful and well established, Oscar has attended several clinics with Emily Cammock.
Oscar is definitely a second/third pony and not for beginners.
Our daughter has brought him on very slowly, confidently and calmly and he has always been reassured when he is unsure and now he gives his all at every event and this attitude gives him the confidence to do his job without hesitation.
HOME IS PARAMOUNT
We are happy to take him to different arenas or lessons with instructors but welcome to ride at our place too.
Much loved and very sad sale as our daughter has outgrown him.
