EB Esperanza chestnut full size pony gelding, aged 7YO

Rain is a very talented, scopey pony that has been successfully and confidently competing at 1.10/15m and mini prix height in the second half of the 2016/17 season (we only got him in time for Hawera 3* show Jan 2017). In the short time we have had him his placings have included
5th 1.10m at Hawera 17
1st 1.05m Dannevirke A and P 2017
2nd 1.10m Dannevirke A and P 2017
5th 1.15m/mini prix Dannevirke 2017
4th 1.10m Masterton A and P show 2017
5th 1.10m Manfield 2017
Horse of the Year, 1 x 1.10m and 2 x 1.15m classes for a 10th and 11th out of around 75 ponies? then he was scratched for rest of the show due to ground
4th in first round of Glistening Waters Pony Championship Stakes 1.10m-15m and 7th after the final day, after having the last rail in the jumpoff.

He is a forward moving pony, with no dirt whatsoever, and loves to jump and to please. His rider had huge plans for him to be steppjng up to PGP this season after he had done a few 1.20's, with the ultimate goal of pony of the year, but she has grown too tall! He has a big jump, is very clean and will jump from a short or long spot. Like I said he is forward moving so not ideal for a beginner rider, more one who has been competing for a while and ready to step up in heights.

Rain is a real dude to handle, self loads on float, truck, ties up for farrier and has great feet. He has been xc schooled around Taupo by his previous rider and took on every fence with great confidence and has been full wire hunted. His flatwork is good,, as long as he hasn't done too much jumping. He has been extensively hacked, mostly bareback around our steep hill country farm and loves mustering!

Rain is only available to the right home and rider combination. He has just been clipped and come back into work, after having June off. Please call 063726419 (evenings) or 0272469690
